First Suicide from World’s Tallest Building

Image via Wikimedia CommonsFirst suicide from world’s tallest building: The remarkable Burj Khalifa opened in Dubai in January 2010. Owner Emaar Properties said “The concerned authorities have confirmed that it was a suicide, and we are awaiting the final report.”

The dead man apparently hurled himself from the 147th floor. He struck the building on his way down, landing on the 108th floor. An Asian man in his thirties, he took the terrifying plunge following  a reported dispute with his employer.
